After months poring over an enormous binder (it even went on holiday with her) our Transport Manager Kim Brettle has passed her Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence exams at the first sitting.
With a pass rate under 50% the team were quietly confident Kim would pass but nerves were definitely causing her trouble on finals day! However, Kim sailed through and will soon be hanging her certificates on the wall at Biomass HQ in Ulverston.
Kim said, "I was lucky enough for Kerry to offer me the opportunity to sit the Transport Manager CPC. The course was intense and required dedication but throughout I had the full support of the biomass team and with this was lucky enough to pass first time! I look forward to new adventures and opportunities this qualification can give us,"
This is the next stage in the development the transportation arm of our business, a step along the path to allowing us to move goods for others and assist other biomass firms with their deliveries. As our fleet expands maximising productivity is key and with Kim's tenacious and forward thinking management style I will have no doubt our wagons will be keeping very busy in the future!
